College Basketball: Murray State’s women’s tean concluded a four game road trip with a 79-73 loss at Illinois State. Macey Turley led the Racers in scoring with 22 points with Katelyn Young adding 13 and freshman Briley Peña pitched in 12 as Murray State lost its sixth straight game in falling to 11-10 overall and 4-8 in the Missouri Valley. The Racers are back in action Friday night hosting Indiana State at 6 with pregame at 5:30 on WNBS.

NFL: The Kansas City Chiefs and Philadelphia Eagles arrived in Arizona Sunday for next Sunday’s Super Bowl 57. 10 players and the head coaches of the Chiefs and Eagles will meet with the media this evening on Super Bowl Opening Night.
College Football: ESPN reports the University of Alabama has hired Kevin Steele as its new defensive coordinator. It will be the third time the 64-year-old Steele has worked with head coach Nick Saban.
