College Basketball:   Murray State’s women lost for the second time in a row Sunday, falling to Missouri State  77-61 in Missouri Valley action.  The Lady Bears began the game on an 8-0 run and led 26-9 at the end of the fist quarter.

The Racers were led in scoring by Katelyn Young’s 13 points with Alexis Burpo adding 10.  Murray State is now 11-6 overall and 4-4 in the Valley.  The Racers begin a four game road trip Friday night at Evansville.  Pre game coverage begins at 5:30 on WNBS.

Murray State’s men-fresh from a win over Indiana State Saturday-are on the road tomorrow night at Southern Illinois.  Coverage from Carbondale begins at 6:25 on Froggy 103.7.

Today is a travel day for the Racers which means the Hey Coach show will be recorded at noon Wednesday at the Big Apple Bar and Grill and will air Wednesday night at 6 on Froggy 103.7

HS Basketball:   Murray High’s girls are in action this evening against the Mayfield Lady Cardinals.  Pre game coverage from Taylor Gym begins at 7 on WNBS.

NBA:  Ja Morant had 27 points but it wasn’t enough as the Phoenix Suns defeated the Memphis Grizzlies 112-110. Memphis trailed 62-37 at the half before mounting a strong second half rally.  The Grizzlies continue their road trip tonight at Sacramento.
