RACERS MOVE TO 3-0 FOR FIRST TIME SINCE 1998
A Preston Rice to LaMartez Brooks touchdown pass with 2:36 remaining gave Murray State the lead and a Davontae McKee interception in the final minute sealed the win as the Racers defeated Tennessee Tech, 36-31 yesterday in Cookeville. The Racers also got a pair of touchdown runs by Demonta Witherspoon and a 55-yard field goal by Aaron Baum in moving to start the season 3-0 for the first time since 1998.
